Unleash Your Creativity and Engineering: Build and Race Your Own Robot Car!
Are you ready to dive into the world of robotics and conquer the racetrack? This class invites you to design, build, and race your very own robot. Buckle up for weekly robot-building challenges filled with hands-on learning, friendly competition, and lots of fun! No previous experience required. Each robot car will be programmed through circuits and mechanical parts so no computer is needed.
Here’s what you’ll get to experience:

  • Master the Art of Robotics: Get hands-on with DC motor drivers and object avoidance sensors, the building blocks of your robot brain.

  • Unleash Your Creativity: Design and build your car’s chassis and wheels, letting you change the way it races around the track.

  • Conquer the Racetrack: Put your robot to the test on a custom-built racetrack made from recycled cardboard.

  • Brainpower: Each week, you’ll delve into the fascinating world of electronics and physics, understanding the science behind your robot’s every move.

  • Keep Your Creation: At the end of the semester, your robot car is yours to keep!

Parents and (quietly self engaged) siblings are welcome to stay in the room but are not required to stay.
