Curious Kids: Asking Questions and Finding Answers since 2024
Ages: 7-9
Time: 10:30 – 11:25
Room: Room B
Max. Students: 6
What is weather? Why is axolotl such a weird word? Who invented pudding? We will collect more questions than answers in this class and practice discovery through imagination, creativity, and good old fashioned research. Students will be expected to bring questions and participate in answering them. Each class will have an activity focused on discovering some weird part of the world like measuring before tape measures, English as a foreign language, weather observation, and flowers.
Class participants should be able to read and be able to take turns in class discussions. Students should be full of questions and know that no question is too silly to explore.
Parents and (quietly self engaged) siblings are welcome to stay in the room but are not required to stay.
