This class is an introduction for all ages to the fun of a meditation and mindfulness practice. We will learn to be in the here and now. We will learn how to recognize our feelings, our surroundings and what our needs might be at any given moment or during moments of strong emotions. We will learn the different forms of meditation- sitting, standing, laying down or walking. We will go for walks and learn about walking meditation. During the class we will play games, do meditation puzzles and do various activities that will help us be learn to be grounded and calm. Some of these activities will be blowing bubbles, make glitter jars, sing songs, learn mantras, tuning into our senses, breathing like a bear and so many others.
